For just a while
And seek the peace within.
Shut out the world and all its noise
And let the silence in.
Close your ears for just a while
Until you only hear
That still, small voice that whispers
All is well
For you are here

The Healing Hands network pioneered its work in Sarajevo, Bosnia. Although Sarajevo is no longer in the media spotlight Healing Hands is determined to stay involved. The ravages of rape, torture, disappearance of loved ones and extensive land mining have taken a huge toll. Rebuilding is under way but the physiological and psychological scars take longer to heal. The neglected victims of the hidden horrors of disaster: the young, the old, the infirm who have no-one to help them need help longer after the front line workers have gone.
This talk is about the last previous three visits Elizabeth has made since 1996 when the war ended. The talk will involve a DVD presentation and various documents that were presented to the world at the end of the war. It will give a sharp perspective on what happens at the ending of a war as well as the hope and good will that can be generated out of such atrocity.

When you are having a baby or have just given birth, you might want to share your worries or concerns so you can feel more confident.
NCT classes are a great way to build confidence and reduce anxieties surrounding birth and becoming a parent. They are also a great way to make friends who understand exactly what each other is going through. Antenatal classes provide information on pregnancy and options for labour and birth. Early days postnatal classes explore different parenting styles, sleeping and baby feeding.
Week-end courses also available at the Minerva Centre: please contact :

Dru Yoga is a gentle but extremely powerful yoga. It strengthens the body, relaxes the mind and opens the heart. The flowing movements and postures are flexible and powerful. They boost the immune system, and help to overcome depression and stress. Dru yoga helps aid back pain, enhances intuition and is easy to practise. It is a soft flowing yoga that installs stillness in motion, healing the physical, subtle and emotion bodies. Work with the balancing, healing and harmonising effects of Dru Yoga.

Ashtanga Yoga Classes in Bath
My yoga tuition is held in a non-dogmatic style and
based on my long experience of practise and studies with various ashtanga
yoga teachers all around the world.
The yoga classes are
designed at different levels which allows beginners to gradually step in
the routine of the yoga practise, as well for the more advanced
practitioner to develop a deeper understanding into the art of yoga as a
way of life.
Beside the positive effects of a physical practice
to gain well-being, strength and flexibility, non the less yoga is a way to
pure self-awareness and to discover the true nature of yourself.
